Funeral services for David Allen Sawyer, 66, of Conroe will be held on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. W. C. Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home. Mr. Sawyer was born Oct. 8, 1941 in Falls City, Nebraska and passed away Oct. 14, 2007 at home in Conroe, Texas. His parents, three brothers, and his wife, Joe Ann Sawyer, all preceded him in death. David is survived by his daughter, Christine Elizabeth Sawyer of Conroe; sons, David Morton Sawyer of Conroe and Dennis Allen Sawyer and wife Terri of New Waverly; sisters, Nona McAdams and Jennie Cunningham; brother, Charles Sawyer; and grandchildren, David Morton Sawyer, Cody Austin Sawyer and Dustin Allen Sawyer. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
