She was born on June 26, 1928, in Putnam County to the late Ralph E. and Orpha M. (Winkle) Dillon.
On March 19, 1947 she married Gerald R. "Bing" Binger and he died on January 16, 1998.
Helen was a homemaker who loved to sew and made many rag rugs for her church. She also loved her family and enjoyed baking, cooking, and having story time with her great grandchildren. She was a member of the Arcadia United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Group.
Surviving are a brother: Dale G. Dillon of Findlay; sister: Marjorie Ann (Joe) Marsh of Fostoria; grandchildren: Katrina (Kyle) Thomas, Jessica Binger and Nicolas (Casie) Binger; great grandchildren: Cora Thomas and Cody Thomas; daughter-in-law: Janet Binger of Findlay; and many nieces and nephews.
