Roxanne "Roxy" Ramirez 23, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2003 in a San Antonio Hospital. While she was in high school at W. B. Ray, Roxy was voted most popular, band sweetheart, and Homecoming Queen in 1998. She was an intern at Enterprise Rent A Car and was close to graduating from Texas A & M Corpus Christi. She will be forever young and forever beautiful and our miracle was our 23 years spent with her. Another Star is in Heaven and she will be much loved by her family, friends and co-workers and there will never be another "Roxy".

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Diana Ramirez; her sister, Rosanne Ramirez; maternal grandparents, Virginia Gomez and Raul (Esmeralda) Gomez; paternal grandmother, Hermelinda Ramirez; maternal great grandmother; Maria De La Luz Ortiz Soto; aunt, Adriana Gomez; boyfriend, Luis Talamante III; and numerous aunts and uncles.

She succumbed to leukemia.
