Ramon "Mr. Nice" Hernandez, 65, of Corpus Christi, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2004.
He was born on February 27, 1938 in Premont, Texas to Ignacio B. and Herlinda Hernandez.

He was the owner and founder of the Sno Ball for 33 years. He was employed in the beer business for over 30 years and was a member of Corpus Christi Cathedral.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be missed dearly by all his family. He was a wonderful provider to all.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Sophia Hernandez; three children, Tamra L. Hernandez (Alex), Jennifer J. Hernandez (Lupe) and R.G. Hernandez (Anna) all of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren, Lu Hernandez (Ursulia), Jon Marc Hernandez, KoKo Perez, Heather Lynn Hernandez and April Garza; three sisters, Corina Guajardo of Alice, Texas, Pauline Garza of Corpus Christi and Ester Munoz of Premont, Texas; five brothers, Gene Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Eulalio Hernandez, Ignacio Hernandez and Thomas Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and rosary were held Jan. 30, 2004 at Corpus Christi Cathedral. A funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 31, 2004 also at Corpus Christi Cathedral. Emtombmet followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
