Marjorie Bennett Hendon, 95, of Yuba City died Feb. 13, 2007, at The Courtyard in Yuba City. Born in Grass Valley, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 60 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Tierra Buena Ladies' Club; a charter member of the Plumas Lake Golf Club, and past captain of its Ladies Club; and a Pink Ladies volunteer at Fremont Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, a son, three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A. Hendon; and three sisters, Juanice Hollingshead, Clarice Hempler and Valerie Jeffery.
Services: Services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Sierra View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Olivehurst.
