Martha attended Kahoka High School. She was a member of the Gorin and Wyaconda United Methodist Churches.
Martha spent all of her life as a homemaker. She was an excellent cook who loved to prepare meals for her family. She put in a large, beautiful garden and spent hours canning her produce as well as sharing with others. She was a perfectionist in whatever she did, paying attention to the smallest of details and precision. Although few people knew, she had a beautiful singing voice.
Martha loved taking care of her family. Her granddaughters were the “apple of her eye” as were her nieces and nephews and her extended family she shared with Dale. She attended the SEIA and ILLIAMO Model Car Clubs with Dale and together they took many trips and drives with car club friends.
