Elaine Magee Leister passed away December 2, 2003 in Santa Rosa at the age of 94. Elaine was born August, 2, 1909, in Eureka to Henry and Sadie Stickels. She lived in Arcata and Shively, graduated from Fortuna High School and attended Humboldt State. Elaine worked for the State in the Alcoholic Beverage Control Dept. for over 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her son, Charles McNaughton of Sacramento.

She is survived by her son, John McNaughton of Windsor; nephews, Michael Stickels of Redway and Dan Stickels of Palm Springs; niece, LeAnna Maidesil of Hayward; eight grandchildren, Craig McNaughton of Sacramento, Kevin McNaughton of Rescue, Howard McNaughton of Placerville, Cory Goyer of Auburn, Todd McNaughton of Petaluma, Kyle McNaughton of Seattle, Joe McNaughton of Scottsdale, Marcie McNaughton-Walsh of Scottsdale; six great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

The family will hold graveside services at Ocean View Cemetery.
