Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March , 8, 2002 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Marty, Minnesota for Elwin Arsene Konz, age 39, of 1525 Northway Drive 328, St. Cloud, MN who died on March 4, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. Monsignor Daniel Taufen will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Parish Cemetery at Marty, MN. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 7, 2002 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and on Friday, March 8, 2002 from 10:30 a.m. to 11 :30 a.m. at the funeral home. Holy Cross Parish Prayers will be a 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, MN.
Elwin was born on November 22, 1962 in St. Cloud, MN to Elwin and Lorraine (Guide) Konz. He graduated from Kimball High School in 1982. He has lived in St. Cloud since 1990. He was employed by, Goodwill Industries in St. Cloud.
He is survived by: His sisters and brother, Rosann Petty and her husband Micky of Kimball, MN, Nancy Konz of St. Cloud, MN, Mary Lou Konz of Minneapolis, MN, Wilbert Konz of Seattle, WA, and Laura Konz of St. Louis Park, MN.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, and one brother Harlan.
