HENSLEY, Roy Clyde - Sunday, May 23, 1982 at a local infirmary. Survived by sister-in-law, Mrs. Ann Belcher; cousin, Jack Massey, Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. His remains are at the Eastland Chapel, 904 Gallatin Road, where services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. W.W. Miles officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, Tn. Pallbearers: Clyde Belcher, Joe Carver, John Burns, Floyd Mackey, Zellie Carter. ROESCH PATTON DORRIS & CHARLTON, Eastland [Chapel], 904 Gallatin Road


After attending his wife's (Leta) funeral, Roy went home and began feeling ill. He drove himself to the hospital, where he was later discovered in his car, in the parking lot. He had died of a heart attack.

His headstone gives his date of death as May 22 - should be May 23.
