Enrica (Secondina) Orduini-Battisti 86 of 28 Hough Street, St. Johnsville, died January 18, 1982 in Albany Medical Center following a long illness. Born in Supino, Province of Frosinone, Italy October 29, 1895; she was the daughter of Severino and Giusuppina Dalessandi Orduini. She was married to Giovanni (James) Battisti on June 23, 1917 in St. Patricks Church, St.Johnsville, NY. He died July 8, 1979. She was educated in schools in Italy and came to United States and to St. Johnsville in 1907. Prior to her retirement in 1961 she was employed as a machine operator by the Little Falls Felt Shoe Company and Allegro Shoe Corporation. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and St. Johnsville Senior Saints. Survivors include two sons, Romeo Battisti of St. Johnsville, NY and Judge James J. Battisti Jr. & wife, June Faulkner Crossman-Battisti, of Catskill NY; a daughter Mrs. Lydia Roberson of Wilmington, DE; a brother Anthony Arduini, of Clifton, NJ; a sister Antoinette, of Supino Italy; seven grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christine Burial was celebrated Thursday at 10 AM at St.Patrick's Church with Rev. Pascal A. Iannotti as the celebrant. Interment in St. Johnsville Cemetery. A prayer service was held at DeRubeis-Maginnis-Smith Funeral Home Wednesdat at 8:00 pm by Father Iannnoti.
