Ruby H. Higgs, 65, Yorktown, died Tuesday in Ball Memorial Hospital. She was a Tennessee native and lived in the Muncie area most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Ladies of the Moose.

Mrs. Higgs is survived by her husband, James W.; a son, Ricky Allen, Ridgeville; a daughter, Nancy Marie Cummins, Muncie; and 16 grandchildren.

Private services and entombment will be Thursday in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be sent to Riley Childrens Hospital, 702 Barnhill Drive, Indianapolis, Ind. Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
