Mr. Wright, a resident of Calhoun, Ga., passed away at Gordon Hospital.
Richard was the son of the late Charlie Wright and the late Ruth Ailene Garrett Wright. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired self-employed truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Sandy Bigham and by a brother, Eddie Wright.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2pm at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday from 5 until 7pm.
