Clarence McKinley Scott died Sunday, Dec. 9,1990 at his home in Savannah at the age of 94. He was born in Lauderdale County, Ala., the son of the late Daniel Egan and Odella Lindsey Scott. He was married to the former Effie Franks who preceded him in death in 1983. Mr. Scott was a retired farmer and he also worked in timber. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ. The funeral was Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. in Shackelford Chapel with Lowell Pugh and Jim Chamblee officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens of Hardin County. Survivors include four daughters, Miss Rheba Scott and Mrs. Nell Garey, both of Savannah, Mrs. Ann Vincent of Nashville and Mrs. Vera Gray of Vienna, Va.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Pauline Scott, preceded him in death.
