She was born in Augusta on July 27, 1945, to parents Edward and Elizabeth (Fabian) Grant.
Sally was the only person who, when you walked into her house, you were in a store and a gourmet restaurant, all at once. If there was something you needed, she had it for you. If you slept there, you would wake to Irish music playing and the smell of a huge breakfast cooking. Of course her whole family was No. 1, but she especially enjoyed the company of her 2-year old great-grandson, Walker. Toward the end, his presence was her driving force and really brought light to her life.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Bertrand A. Pelletier.
Sally is survived by her two children, Gregory Knowlton and his fiance Missi, and Lori Mellen and her husband, Bob; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; three siblings, Marlene, Barry and Larry; many nieces, nephews and dear friends; and her beloved pet dog, Princess Bella.
