Otha “Littlen” Carmon passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at his home in Clementsville, KY. He was 83. Born January 30, 1932 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late James and Alma Clements Carmon. He was a timber cutter and sawmill worker. Littlen was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Littlen was also known as the “Mayor” of Clementsville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ada Mae Carmon, who died June 5, 2008; brothers, Gene Carmon and Obie “Biggen” Carman; a sister, Maxine Mills; niece, Darlene Wethington; and two nephews, William Ray Noel and Tommy Shivley. Survivors include nieces, Carolyn Fraid, Judy Arlene Patten, Sharlene Evans, Marlene Mills, Norlene Scott, Shirley Meyers, Barbara Waechter, Pam Green, Sheila Bell, Millie Mitchell, Alma Wethington, Barbara Noel, and Dawn Wethington; nephews, Grayln “Boo” Mills, Ricky Carman, Mark Carman, Mike Carman, and Tim and Jasper Wethington; and several great- nieces and great-nephews. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father Joe Clark officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Prayers beginning at 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5075 KY Hwy 551, Liberty, KY 42539.
