80-Year-Old Widow Will Be Buried On Monday


Mrs. Mary Arnholz, 80, widow of the late August Arnholz and a life-long resident of the county died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Peterik, at Rockwood, where she has been making her home for the past few years. She was seriously ill for a week.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Peterik home and at 2 p.m. from the Rockwood Lutheran church with interment in the Kossuth cemetery.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Mary Holtger was born at Two Rivers in 1853. When a child her parents moved to Shoto. She was married there in 1873 to August Arnholz and they resided in that vicinity most of their life. Mr. Arnholz died in September, 1929.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Carl Hardow and Mrs. Louis Ahrens, both of this city, Mrs. John Peterik, Rockwood, Mrs. William Mueller, Shoto, Mrs. Joseph Bernard, Milwaukee; two brothers, Louis and August Holtger, both of Coleman, Wis.; three sisters Mrs. Walter Houghton, city, Mrs. Anna Stehn, Mishicot, and Mrs. Minnie Kasten, Two Rivers; 24 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.

The body may be viewed up to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Frazier mortuary after which it will be removed to the Peterik home at Rockwood.
