Mrs. August Gauger, 49, Dies At Hospital

Mrs. August Gauger, aged 49 years, residing on Route 5, Manitowoc, passed away early this morning at the hospital here, following an attack of appendicitis. The deceased has been ill a month and confined at the hospital the past week.

Her maiden name was Mary Sprick, and she was born in Kossuth in 1879 and married to August Gauger in 1904.

Besides her husband, one son, Herbert of this city survives.

Burial will take place on Monday afternoon at 1:30 from the old homestead and at 2 o’clock from the Lutheran church at Rockwood, Rev. Zell officiating.

The out of town people at the funeral of Mrs. August Gauger were Mesdames Mary Sander, Otto Behling, Henry Walters, George Behren, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sivert, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Walters and Miss Ida Wen?t all of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Westphal and Walter Brockhaus of Fond du Lac and Mesdames Eli Stegman, William Johnson, Herman Logg and son and Charles Wolfgram of Sturgeon Bay.
