The son of Peter and Anna Forbach, Mr. Forbach's father came to Pinal County in 1860 and established a trading post four miles east of Sacaton and it was called Sacaton at that time.
Mr. Forbach was born there August 3, 1878 and was engaged in the mining business in parts of Arizona and Mexico during his life. For a number of years he operated the old Reymert Mine near Superior. He moved to Phoenix in 1941 and was in the mining business there.
Surviving are two sons: Babe and Verl Forbach; a daughter, Mrs. John Colvin; a brother, Albert C. Forbach; and four grandchildren; all of Casa Grande.
Funeral Services are being held this morning, Thursday, at 10:00 at the Cole and Maud Chapel, with Rev. Elias Jones officiating. Interment will be made in the Mountain View Cemetery.
