Alice Marie Allen was a graduate of St. Lawrence University and received her master's degree and teacher's certification at the State University of New York. She was a school teacher for 33 years and considered by many to be one of the finest elementary educators in the area. She taught in many school districts and finished her career at Rosendale Elementary in Niskayuna. Her many interests included golfing, cooking, gardening and model trains. She is survived by her husband; six step-sons, John, Robert, James, William, Thomas and Terance; her brothers, Edgar (Elizabeth) Wilson and Donald Wilson; two nephews, one niece and four granchildren.
