Rockwell, Edward Abbas, 53, Rockwell, died Wednesday at his home following an apparent heart attack.
He was the owner of Hejlik-Abbas Produce, Rockwell, was a 23-year resident of Rockwell and assistant chief of the volunteer fire department.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockwell, with the Rev. Frank Benda officiating and burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation is at the Patterson James Funeral Home's Murphy Chapel in Rockwell, where a scripture wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and a Knights of Columbus rosary at 8 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; one sister, Mrs. Chris (Rith) Yakel, Latimer; and one brother, Dale, Des Moines.
