Angeline "Angie" R. Enz of Appleton, 93, peacefully departed this life while surrounded by loving family on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at The Bridges of Appleton. She was born in Two Rivers on August 18, 1922, the youngest of Joseph and Rose (Tadych) Borusky's three children. She married Theodore "Pete" Enz on August 27, 1949, and together they had one daughter, Judy, in 1953. Together they owned and operated the Enz Market grocery store in Kewaunee. In 1966, the family moved from Kewaunee to Appleton, where Angie worked as a secretary in the Dairy Division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture until her retirement. Angie had a self-proclaimed passion for typing. Angie was a member of Saint Therese Catholic Church for nearly 50 years, faithfully serving her parish in many ways including baking treats, and sewing quilts. Angie was beloved as a generous and loyal friend, and as a caring mother and grandmother, who always found a reason to smile. Angie was always very fond of dogs, and loved having them as part of her family life.Family meant everything to Angie, who is survived by her daughter, Judy Enz and grandchildren; Crystal (Jason) Daley of Lake Mills, and Kevin Krueger of Appleton, as well as her beloved Skye Terrier, Chewy. Angie is further survived by her dear cousin and BFF, Dorothy Enz, a nephew, Tom Borusky and two nieces, Ellen Haverl and Mary Jane Bowen, as well as numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pete; her brother, Reverend Monsignor Sylvester A. Borusky; and her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Mary Jane Borusky.Our family would like to gratefully acknowledge the wonderful care and comfort provided to all of us by the following: her faithful and loving caregiver, Maria; the staff of Thedacare at Home and Hospice, notably her nurse Tara; and the friendly, professional and compassionate care provided by the staff at The Bridges of Appleton.Our family would also like to gratefully acknowledge the Saint Therese Care Ministry volunteers, Barbara, Sarah, and Tina. And a special thank-you to Karen, her beloved hairdresser extraordinaire of 30+ years. You made her world a better place.A memorial service for Angie will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 30, 2015, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, in Appleton, with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM. After the service, family and friends are invited to gather for lunch right across the street at Mary's Family Restaurant. Weather permitting, burial will be at 3:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers.
