APOPKA - Helen Carver Bass passed away November 14, 2015 in Apopka, Florida. She was born May 12, 1931 in Broxton, Georgia to Thomas Carver and Delma Dyess. She was preceded in death by her husbands Jowell W. Bass, Jack R. Fulenwider and Lester R. Rhudy; her seven brothers Earnest, Bernice (Son), J.C., I.L., Vernell, James, Jack; and her four sisters, Louise, Velma, Magdline and Carol. She is survived by her son Michael R. Rhudy (Debbie) of Crestwood, Kentucky and her daughter Karen R. Powell (Randy) of Apopka, Florida; and by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, November 23, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM, Rev. Randy Powell officiating. Interment will be at 12:00 PM in Oaklawn Park Cemetery. In addition to flowers, the family requests donations may be made in her memory to Vitas Hospice, 2201 Lucien Way, Suite 100, Maitland, Florida 32751
