Susan C. Ammerman, 62, of 506 Grape St., Lock Haven, died Aug. 20, 2008 at her home.
Born Nov. 8, 1945 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Perry S. and Minnie Mae (McCloskey) Eisenhower.
On Sept. 17, 1985, she married Robert L. Ammerman, who died Oct. 13, 2007.
She was a 1963 graduate of Bald Eagle-Nittany High School, Mill Hall.
Susan worked for Eagle Cleaning in Williamsport and had previously worked at the Weis store in Lock Haven.
She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
She enjoyed flower gardening, walking and dancing and was an avid reader.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lynn Watkins (Tim Losch) of Marsh Creek and Wendy Sue (Craig) Sadler of Rothselberg, Germany; seven brothers, Perry J. (Leisel) Eisenhower of Papillion, Neb., Jerry (Doris) Eisenhower of Germantown, Md., Sam B. Eisenhower of Lock Haven, David (Caroline (Elaine Watkins)) Eisenhower of Castanea, Stephen G. Eisenhower of Mill Hall, Larry (Sue) Eisenhower of Dunnstown and Randall (Susan) Eisenhower of Mill Hall; two sisters, Judy (Gordy) Koch of Castanea and Shirley (Richard) Custer of Lock Haven; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Kathy DiAnn.
Services will be Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesees, Mill Hall, with Dan Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
