US Congressman. He served in the United States House of Representatives from 1899 to 1903 as a representative of Oregon's 2nd Congressional District. Moody received his formal education from The University of California in Berkeley, California. He served as a member of the Dalles City Council from 1885 to 1889 and also served two terms as the mayor of Dalles, Oregon beginning in 1889.
