Violet A. Pritzl, age 76, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, November 22, 2015 at St. Mary's at Felician Village, Manitowoc.She was born on August 18, 1939 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Fannie (Knaus) Wagner. Vi was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Class of 1957. On November 28, 1959 she married Paul Pritzl at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Vi was employed as a bookkeeper for A.B.C. Supermarket for several years. She was then employed as a bookkeeper for Stangel Supermarket and for 12 years she was employed as a teller supervisor for Bank 1st National. Vi bowled for over 30 years and loved playing cards with her church group. Along with her husband, she was a member of St. Andrew Parish Council and was a cub scout leader. She was also a member of Lamp Liters Dance Club. Vi enjoyed spending time and doting about her grandchildren.Survivors include her husband of 56 years: Paul W. Pritzl, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffrey & Shannon Pritzl, Manitowoc, Scott & Jennifer Pritzl, Waterford; two daughters and sons-in-law: Penny and Dean Picha, Buffalo Grove, IL., Terri & Timothy Hahn, Stevens Point; seven grandchildren: Taylor Pritzl, Payton Pritzl, Morgan Pritzl, Gabrielle Pritzl, Maggie Hahn, Greyson Pritzl, Katelyn Hahn; one brother and sister-in-law: David & Stella (Sally) Wagner, Manitowoc; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Norbert & Rita Pritzl, Cato, Marie Schermetzler, Manitowoc, Anna Mae & Roger Cornils, Manitowoc, Geraldine & David Brouchoud, New Berlin, Eunice & Leroy Bielke, Manitowoc, Monica Herzog, Manitowoc, Edward & Ann Pritzl, Cato, Kathryn & Ronald Krupski, Manitowoc, Donald & Joyce Pritzl, Luxemburg and Suzanne & Howard Zimmerman, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Elizabeth & Richard Weber; a step brother-in-law: Othmar & Laura Pritzl; two step sisters-in-law: Agatha & Edward Leist, Irene & Joseph Oswald; and three brothers-in-law: John Pritzl, Robert Herzog and Bernard Schermetzler.Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue), Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
