Laura Grace Teeter Dinelli, 80, formerly of Liberty Corners, Pa., passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at the Skilled Nursing Unit of Guthrie Memorial Hospital, Towanda, Pa.

"Grace" as she was known by her family and friends was born on Aug. 8, 1935, in Towanda, Pa., the daughter of Vernon Conrad Teeter and Carrie Elizabeth Guldenschuh Teeter. She spent her early years in Franklindale and grew up on the family farm in Liberty Corners. On Feb. 16, 1952, she married Louis Joseph Dinelli in North Towanda, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years on Dec. 21, 1995. In early years, Grace was employed by the Berlinger Silk Mill, Sylvania Electric and Hurr's Dairy Store and was later employed by Ames Department Store all in Towanda. Her life revolved around her family whom she loved dearly and took great pride in attending her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren's sports, school and extracurricular events as she was able. Holidays and gatherings for family and friends in her home were always special and where all were welcome. In earlier years, Grace was an avid bowler having participated on several area bowling leagues and she enjoyed playing cards and board games with family and friends.

Her family includes: her children, Louis J. Dinelli II. and wife Janice L. Dinelli of Liberty Corners, Vernon A. Dinelli and wife Vicky E. Dinelli of Liberty Corners, Elizabeth M. "Sue" Bowen and husband James A. Bowen of Towanda, John L. Dinelli and wife Patty Jo Dinelli of Nanticoke, Pa., Gregory D. Dinelli and wife Kristy L. Dinelli of Monroeton, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer Rice and husband Clinton Rice of Towanda, Louis Dinelli III. and wife Sarah Dinelli of Ashburn, Va., Mindy Sosar and husband Patrick Sosar of Drums, Pa., Eric Dinelli of Towanda, Laura Dinelli of Towanda, Brandee Gorsline and husband Keith Gorsline of North Rome, Joseph Bowen and wife Jaime Bowen of Liberty Corners, Lyndsey Comment and husband Matthew Comment of Warrenton, Va., Darci Watkins and husband Jason Watkins of North Rome, William Shaw of West New York, N.J., John "Jack" Dinelli II and wife Ashley Dinelli of Sayre, Rebecca Dinelli, Deanna Dinelli and Dominic Dinelli all of Nanticoke, Pa.; 25 great grandchildren, Virginia, Anna, Lily, and Abigail Rice, Rebekah and Alyssa Dinelli, Louis Dinelli IV, Daniel Sosar and Aela Stiehl, Riley, Elizabeth, Seija, Avery, Cecilia, and Miriam Gorsline, Joseph Bowen II., William "Will," Grace, Thomas, Allison and Rebekah Bowen, Benjamin Comment, Jason Watkins II., Wyatt and Henry Watkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Phyllis Teeter of Liberty Corners, Fred and Joy Teeter of Auburn, Pa.; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Saxon of Towanda, Esther Dinelli of Towanda, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Reba and Wayne Warner of Stevensville; brother-in-law, Franklin Vanderpool of Athens as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friend, Betty Johnson of Towanda.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Hila and Kenneth Macey, Clara and Ernest Lamphere Jr.; brothers-in-law, Frank, Anthony "Tony" and Paul Dinelli and by a special niece, Joan Teeter.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015. at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa., with Pastor Clinton Rice officiating.

Interment will follow in the Liberty Corners Cemetery, Monroe Township, Pa.

The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be directed to a charity or organization of one's choice in Grace's memory.
