Rodger Lee Gordon, age 74 of Charlottesville, VA, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on June 9, 1941 in Circleville, WV, the son of the late Vernon and Hilda (Bennett) Gordon.
On June 24, 1961, Rodger married Loralee Baldwin, who survives in Charlottesville.
Mr. Gordon was a 1960 graduate of Franklin High School and had worked as a Produce Manager for 29 years at Food Lion and retired in 2013.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a son, Barry Lee Gordon and wife Kathryn of Gordonsville, VA; 2 sisters, Mary Rose Hinkle and husband Ralph of Huntersville, WV, Judy Mae Propst and husband Eston of Sugar Grove, WV; a brother, Terry Guy Gordon and wife Judy of Circleville; and 2 grandchildren, Grace Allison and Graham Anson.
Mr. Gordon's family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stanley Kile officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine, WV.
