Caroline C. "Curly" Hanna, age 102, of the Felician Village, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, November 22, 2015, at Next Step Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, following a brief illness. Caroline was born on September 21, 1913 in Cato, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Vogel) Meyer. On November 21, 1951 she married Louis Hanna at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She and Louie farmed for many years in the Town of Kossuth. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, baking raised dough, and contributed her sewing talents in making many, many quilts and lap robes.Survivors include her brother: Walter Meyer, Manitowoc; four sisters-in-law: Wilma Meyer and Marian Heath, both of Manitowoc, Luellis Meyer, Cato, and Marcella Hanna, Luxemburg. She is further survived by three sisters-in-law: Ruth (Carl) Reitmeyer, Green Bay, Martha Korinek, Manitowoc, and Helen Leitermann, Almond, WI. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Louis, May 16, 2014; four sisters: Josephine Tomcheck, Helen Linder, Monica Kopidlansky and Alice Sleger; six brothers: Edmund, Martin, Herman, Mark, Richard and Arthur Meyer. She was also preceded in death by her first husband: Daniel Kopidlansky; three brothers-in-law: Joseph, Louis and Leonard Kopidlansky; and two sisters-in-law: Ann Rieck and Mary Cohen.Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Blessed Angela Chapel at the Felician Village, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Gerald Foley and Caroline's cremated remains will be laid to rest at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
