MRS A H O'BRATE DIES MONDAY AT 67
Mrs. A H O'Brate died Monday at Donohue Memorial hospital at the age of 67. She had suffered a fall last Friday, was taken to the hospital and was unable to recover. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 2, in the Christian church.
Mrs O'Brate, whose maiden name was Sadie Elizabeth Payne, was born near Caldwell and moved with her parents to a homestead near Enid, Okla., at the age of five. After her education was completed she taught school for two years in Garfield County, Okla., and in 1907 was married to Anthony Hendricks O'Brate of Enid.
Mr & Mrs O'Brate had eight children of whom two died in infancy. The family lived near Enid until the children were grown and in 1944 they moved to Hamilton county.
Survivors include Mr. O'Brate and six children; Merrill Lee. Albert Glen, William Howard,Elmer James, John Larry,Mrs E J Christiansen; two brothers; Charles Payne of Enid and George Payne of Goltry, Okla., a number of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
