Obituary of Violet M. Helsel
Violet M. Helsel, 63, of Imler RD 1 died at 1:36 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 1993, at Nason Hospital, following an extended illness.
Burial was Monday at Imler RD 1.
Mrs. Helsel was born Oct. 20, 1930, in Imler, the daughter of William D. and Lillian (Finnegan) Acker.
She married William E. Helsel on Aug. 12, 1950, in Cumberland, Md. He died June 11, 1987.
Surviving are three children: Charles E. of Hollidaysburg, Nancy L. Bechtel of Berlin, Somerset County, and Roger D. of Imler RD 1; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her mother of Martinsburg, a sister, Pauline Walter of Cessna, and two brothers Leroy of Sproul and Thomas of Altoona.
Arrangements were made by Marvin C. Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg.
