Kinerd "Kaye" D Lowe

Funeral services for Kinerd D. "Kaye" Lowe, age 86, of Silver Point, will be held Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Bro. Clayton Lee, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in New Home Cemetery in the Boma Community.

The family will receive friends from 4-9:00 PM Friday, and again 10:00 AM, Saturday until time of services, at Presley Funeral Home.

Mr. Lowe passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep, Thursday morning, November 26, 2015 at his home.

He was born Wednesday, July 31, 1929 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Solon Grover Lowe and Elizabeth Vianna Parker Lowe.

Mr. Lowe retired after 20+ years from Teledyne-Stillman. He enjoyed farming, and spending time with his wife and his grandsons, and was never seen without his "#1 Grandpa" cap on, due to that being his greatest pride and accomplishment in life. Loving his family was more important than anything to him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Elizabeth Cole Lowe; brother, Iva Truman Lowe; three sisters, Rubye Jewell Lowe Maxwell and her husband, Odell; Stella Mae Lowe Birdwell and her husband, Arthur; and infant sister; three brothers-in-law, Herman Carter, Thurston Cole, Ridley Cole and wife Ann; sister-in-law, Essie Cole Murray; niece, Anna Kay Birdwell Mahan, and a nephew, Melvin Maxwell.

Mr. Lowe is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Angie (Nelson) Rayburn of Portland, TN; son, Wayne Lowe of Baxter; grandsons, Benjamin Davis Rayburn and Cody Wayne Lowe.

Pallbearers will be Greg Cole, Ron Whitefield, Randall Bilbrey, Tim Mahan, Danny Moss, Ryan Maxwell.
