Josephine P. Novak, age 70, of 921 S. 13th St, Manitowoc, Wis., died Tuesday morning, September 19, 1995, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 1030 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 1995, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Carl Meulemans with burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Novak was born January 4, 1925, in Manitowoc, Wis., daughter of the late William and Rose Nesper Blashka. She married George R. Novak December 28, 1945, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Josephine was a member of the VFW Post #659 Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, George Novak, Manitowoc; one daughter, Bonnie Novak, Manitowoc; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Kim Novak, Manitowoc, Thomas and Susan Novak, Francis Creek, Ricky Novak, Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Jennifer Novak, Jeff and Chad Novak; one sister, Irene Wicihowski, Manitowoc; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Joe Blashka, Cyril and Bernice Blashka, Clarence and Lucille Blashka, Bill and Caroline Blashka, Fritz and Karen Blashka, all of Manitowoc. She is further survived by four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Ted.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday (TONIGHT) at the Pfeffer Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. led by Rev. Carl Meuelemans.
