Mr. Brown was a native of Besoco, West Virginia having made North Augusta his home for the past 61 years. He was a member of North Augusta Southern Methodist Church where he served as former Church Treasurer and Chairman of the Board of Stewarts. Mr. Brown retired from E. I. Dupont Company at the Savannah River Plant with 31 years of service as a Production Operator. He was the former owner of Tacky Tony’s Fireworks and a former Mason. Mr. Brown was the husband of the late Vera L. Brown.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cathy Brown, North Augusta; two daughters, Mary Brown and Carilee Cooper, North Augusta; a granddaughter, Kerri Ann (Matt) Rupert; a great-granddaughter, Vivian Vera Rupert.
