Ladonna Jo Yates Briggs age 52 of Sitka, Kentucky formerly of Printer, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born December 3, 1962 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Denzil and Josephine Meade Yates.
She is survived by her husband Carl Briggs, two daughters Leanna Jo Briggs and Tiffany Marie Briggs of Sitka, Kentucky, five brothers Steve Yates of Printer, Kentucky, Danny Yates of Garrett, Kentucky, Tim Yates of Garrett, Kentucky, Carter Yates of Martin, Kentucky and D.J. Yates of Gunlock, Kentucky four sisters Connie Mullins of Printer, Kentucky, Pearlene Yates of Printer, Kentucky, Nadine Herrell of Columbus, Kentucky and Helen Isaac of Frenchburg, Kentucky and three grandchildren Jackie, Derek and Rebecca.
Besides her parents Ladonna is preceded in death by one brother Chris Yates and two sisters Gwinna Davis and Anna Doris Yates.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from the Old Time Baptist Church at Printer, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Meade Cemetery at Printer, Kentucky. Officiating will be Brad Tackett and Denver Meade. Friends may call at the church on Monday November 30, 2015 after 12 noon, all day Tuesday and anytime Wednesday prior to funeral services.
