Arthur E Hurst,67 of 1517 Gordon Street,died Monday in Mercy Hospital,after a short illness.
Born Nov.12,1901,in Woodstock,Ont. He was a resident of Port Huron the last 45 years.
He was a machinist at the Former Pressed Metal of America and then at Midwest Machine Company of Indian until 2 1/2 years ago when he retired. He was a member of the St.Paul's Episcopal Guild.
he was survived by his widow Mrs.Hattie Hurst; a duagther Carrol Isaac ansd a son Richard Hurst all of goodells; seven grandchildren; a sister Mrs.Fred Roberts,and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral sevices will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Arthur Smith Funeral Home with Rev.W.Neil Roller,rector of St.Paul's Church,officiating Bural will be in Woodland Cemetery.
