Mrs. Robert (Joan) Abts Jr., 40, of rural Brillion, died Saturday, December 20, 1986 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, after a short illness. Funeral services were held this Monday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion. Burial followed at St. Ann Parish Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Mrs. Abts was born January 24, 1946 at Kewaunee, daughter of Doris Kittel Pilgram and the late Elmer Pilgram. She married Robert Abts on May 11, 1968 at Algoma. Mrs. Abts was a member of St. Mary Church, Brillion.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; two sons, Shawn and Steve; a daughter, Shelly, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Doris Tilgram of Algoma; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Abts Sr. of Casco; her twin brother, John of Luxemburg; five sisters, Mrs. Vic (Charlotte) Marshek of Forest Junction, Shirley Tilgram of Algoma, Mrs. Gary (Beverly) Frank of Denmark, Frank and Lana Jalowiec of Antigo and LuAnn Huebner of Brillion and a special friend, Betty Brehmer. She was preceded in death by a son.
