Waldo Bennier, age 91 died Nov. 11, 2015 at Mountain View Manor in Prescott, Arizona.
He was born Feb. 9, 1924 in Granville, Iowa the son of the late Herman and Elizabeth (Galles) Bennier.
He was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He also spent many years as a volunteer at YRMC and was past exalted ruler and lifetime member of Elks 888 in Long Beach, California.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Shirley LaVon Harris Bennier in 1968 and then Frances Elizabeth Bennier.
Waldo is survived by his 4 children.
The family will receive friends at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. A rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 with a funeral mass at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, Long Beach, California.
