Mother may or may not be #127854834. Different contributors have suggested she is / is not the same Ida Cox as Charles Green's mother.
However, it is more likely that Ida Martin is his mother.
-her 1928 death certificate lists Frank Martin as her husband and William Cox as her father
-Ida & Frank are together in 1920 census
---Charles Green is living next door
-25 Nov 1919 newspaper item announcing marriage license for Frank Martin and Mrs Ida Miller
-1910 census of Manning and Ida Miller, with Velma (Dowel) living with them. Ida is mother to 8 children, 7 living
-1942 newspaper items on MIA status of Harry Dowell names Velma and Florence (Green) as his sisters
-1900 census with George and Ida Green. Ida is mother to 6 children, all living, including Charles and Florence.
-1885 marriage of George Green and Ida Cox
------------------------------
His Dob is listed as 1893 on his death certificate not 1885. Census are secondary sources when it comes to date of births. Plus that would have put Ida pregnant and around 8 years old at the time of his birth. There is not a Birth certificate for Ida or Charles that I have found so far. So we have to assume Ida Dob is 1877 is correct. Even though she kept listing her self as getting younger and younger with each census. According to the family Ida was very young and ran away from the reservation to get married to George. That the father listed on her ML my not even be her real father so we can assume it was probably a no question marriage in a "greta green" county
