Phyllis Elaine Shilling, 66, Tonganoxie, KS, died Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Tri-County Rod and Gun Club, 18573 Stillwell Road, Linwood, KS. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.

Phyllis was born on September 29, 1949 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of James and Ruby Jean (Clark) Looney. She was a 1966 graduate of Basehor High School, where she was named Homecoming Queen and Snow Princess. She was the co founder of Have a Heart Non Profit Rescue. She was co owner and office manager of Shilling Electric Company, Tonganoxie.

She was united in marriage to Roger Shilling on July 2, 1976 in Linwood, KS. He preceded her in death June 26, 2015.

Survivors include her father, James Looney, Topeka; two daughters, Dee Cannon, and husband, James, Tonganoxie, and Kelli Owens, and husband, Chester, Tonganoxie; two brothers, Jim Looney, and wife, Pam, Perry, and Danny Looney, Houston, TX; aunt, Sue Nible, and husband, Duane, Tonganoxie; sister-in-law, Linda Hancock, Tonganoxie; brother-in-law, Gary Shilling, Encinitas, CA; grandchildren, Jacob Heskett, and wife, Sammie, Houston, TX, Shelby Jewell, and husband, Scott, Tonganoxie, Jacob Cannon, Tonganoxie, Josie Owens, Tonganoxie, and Jessica Stinson, Bonner Springs; and one great grandson, Maxwell Jewell, Tonganoxie.
