Elizabeth Gessler Is Dead
Died Friday Morning of Typhoid Pneumonia
Miss Elizabeth Gessler died Friday morning December 6th, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Gessler of Lowry street. Typhoid pneumonia caused the death.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the home with Father A.B. Hull from the Holy Name Catholic church in charge and interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery.
Elizabeth Gessler was born May 17th, 1882 on the Gessler farm north west of Winfield and was 36 years old at the time of her death. With her parents she moved to Winfield then years ago where she has since lived. She has been an invalid since she was fifteen years of age, always cheerful and never complaining.
Two sisters and her father preceded her in death. Those who survive are the mother, two sisters, Mrs. Annie Hendricks of Sycamore, Kansas and Mrs. Eva Fuson of Woodward, Oklahoma, and three brothers, Nick of Woodward, Oklahoma, Ed of Tulsa and John who lives here. All will come for the funeral.
