Services for Robert V. Wallace Sr. of 420 Amos Ave. will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Bisch Memorial Home. Rev. Harold Peterson will officiate.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace, 58, died unexpectedly at 8:20 a.m. Monday at St. John's Hospital.
Born in Bloomington, Mr. Wallace had been employed by the GM&O Railroad for 21 years.
He was a member of Douglas Avenue Methodist Church and the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks.
Surviving are his widow, Jessie Dunham Wallace; two sons, Robert V. Jr. of Springfield, Mass. and Donald D. of the U.S. Air Force; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ann Shaw of Springfield; two brothers, Horace of Blue Island and John of Chicago; and seven grandchildren.
