Anderson Eugene Hutchison, 83, of Pulaski, formerly of Blacksburg, left this life on earth to be in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He was born in Montgomery County March 19, 1932, to the late Robert and Bessie Linkous Hutchison. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Pauline Linkous Hutchison.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Larry Moore, Karen and Mike Still; son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Faun Hutchison; grandchildren, Sarah, Cindy, Cassie, Christy, Augie, Scott, Daphne, Chris, Michelle; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn (Buck) Lyons, Reba Williams, Nadine Paige, Bonnie (Doug) Sheppard; brothers, Roy (Joyce) Hutchison, Randy (Marianne) Hutchison, Elwood Hutchison, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Michelle and Thomas Akers and Good Samaritan Hospice for their exceptional care.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Wayne Poston, the Rev. Randy Woolwine, and the Rev. Richard (Butch) Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
