Dorothy E. Schreiber, 94, of Sullivan, died 11:35 A.M. Wednesday (February 22, 2006) in the Sullivan Health Care center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with the Pastor Paul McGhghy officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials are suggested to the Sullivan Faith Lutheran Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at Reedfuneralhome.net. Dorothy was born October 30, 1911 in Hildago, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Paryzade Harrell Walden. Dorothy had been a cook for The Spot Restaurant, Sullivan Schools, and the Titus Presbyterian Home , all of Sullivan and a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. She married Lester Albert (L.A.) Frederick Schreiber on February 22, 1936 in Champaign, Illinois and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1965.
Surviving are her sons, James L. Schreiber of Idaho Falls, Idaho, David A. Schreiber of Sullivan and Donald W. Schreiber of Cherry Valley, California, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters.
