George Hassemer Sr., 73, Dies at Francis Creek
George Hassemer Sr., aged 73, a resident of the Town of Kossuth all his life, passed away last night at the home of his son, Louis A. Hassemer at Francis Creek. Burial will take place in the cemetery there.
The deceased has been an invalid for five years since suffering a stroke. Mr. Hassemer was married in 1881 to Josephine Kellner of Francis Creek who survives him, with three sons, George and Louis of Francis Creek and August of Menominee, Mich., and one daughter, Mrs. Edward Wacholz of Francis Creek. Two brothers, August of New York and Louis of Francis Creek also survive.
