Lionel Francis Bourgeois, 76 of Waveland, MS passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 in Waveland, MS.
He was a lifetime resident of Waveland, MS, and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church.
He enjoyed fishing, photography and dancing.
He was a wonderful and loving father, brother and grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Thomas F. Bourgeois, parents, Benedict and Vernell Bourgeois and brother-in-law, Walter Perkins.
He is survived by his son, Robert P. Bourgeois of Waveland, MS; two brothers, Louis E. Bourgeois and Charles R. Bourgeois (Kay) both of Waveland, MS; sister, Diane B. Perkins, of Waveland, MS; one grandson, Sören Bourgeois; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The visitation is Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm with the Rosary at 8:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. On Monday, December 7, 2015 the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 noon at St. Clare’s Catholic Church in Waveland with an hour visitation prior to the mass. Entombment will follow in Waveland Cemetery, Waveland, MS.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made to St. Clare Catholic Church, 236 S. Beach Blvd., Waveland, MS 39576. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
