Kathryn McKinney McCormick, 84, of Fayetteville, died Sunday at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan 21, 1916, at Waldron to Benjamin Lewis and Lillie Beam McKinney.
She was retired employee of the Holiday Inn in Fayetteville and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John J Ashmore; her stepmother, Marie Finch Overton; two brothers, W.L. McKinney and Orla McKinney; sister, Letha Bell and her parents.
She is survived by her husband James Edward McCormick of the home; two stepsons, James McCormick of Alvin, TX and Daniel McCormick of Fayetteville; two stepdaughters Karen Weiss of Buffalo, NY, and Melba Harrelson of Calif; two brothers, Ben McKinney of Springdale and Bill McKinney of Alma; Lois Earlene Boyd of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The service will be 11am, Wednesday, Moore's Chapel. Burial will be at the National Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-6 pm today at Moore's Chapel.
