Charles Mickey Adair, 79, of Isle of Hope, died, Friday, December 4 at Hospice Savannah.
He was born on August 17, 1936 in Cedartown, Georgia, a son of the late James A. Adair, Sr. and the late Estelle Odom Adair. He was a graduate of Cedartown High School.
Mickey was employed as a stevedore for 44 years, working for Smith and Kelly Shipping Company. He retired from SSA. He served as Captain of the Isle of Hope Volunteer Fire Department for 34 years.
He loved the Atlanta Braves, football, fishing and the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Isle of Hope Volunteer firefighters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, from 5 until 7 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 7, at 1:00pm, at Isle of Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
