Mrs. Barbara Seidl, 87, of 1516A Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann Church Cemetery, Francis Creek, with the Rev. John Haen officiating.
Mrs. Seidl was born Barbara Leiterman, May 22, 1882, at Rockwood, daughter of the late John and Barbara Grall Leiterman. She was married to Frank Seidl June 14, 1904, at Francis Creek. The couple came to Manitowoc to reside in 1953. Her husband preceded her in death March 17, 1960. She was the organist at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek, for many years and a member of St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Charles Kliment of Melnik, Mrs. Frank Denk of Rt. 2, Reedsville, Mrs. Steve Dvorachek of Reedsville, Miss Evangeline Seidl of Manitowoc, Mrs. Melvin Krejcarek of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Daniel Matczynski of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; a son, Clarence, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; a brother, John, of Antigo; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. One daughter, Elsie, preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Thursday by Christian Mothers Altar Society and the Mystical Rose Circle, Daughters of Isabella.
