She was born in Springfield, MO on April 11th; forever never a day over 21. Myrtle was saved at an early age of 10 at Immanuel Baptist Church during a Vacation Bible School. She loved the Lord and was a long standing member of Cherry Street Baptist Church. Even into her final days she was steadfast, unmovable, and abounding in the Lord's work.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert L. Shaw, her three sisters, four of her five brothers, and both parents.
She is survived by her son, Leslie Shaw and his wife Peggy; her daughter, Diane Chambers and her husband Mike; her grandchildren Beth Shaw; Heather Leonard; Nicole Edens and Andrew Shaw; her great grandchildren Aaron, Madisyn, and Jayden Svetlecic; Kael and Adalynn Edens, and Isaac Shaw. She is also survived by her brother Herb Slavens and his wife Laura, her two sisters-in-law Vieta and Norma Slavens.
Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
