From Thomas' obituary from "The Flint Journal," 11th of August 1964, page 23: McClane, Thomas Edwin Jr., 2506 Hoff, age 8, died Monday, August 10th, 1964, at McLaren General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Henry Berkemeier officiating. Thomas was born in Flint on September 20, 1955, the son of Thomas and Lynn Goodell McClane and has been a resident of Flint all his life. He attended Washington Elementary School and St. Mary Catholic Church.
